The cut length rounds up to the next 10cm. Carpet is priced using the full roll width, including offcuts.

Underlay

Each roll covers 15.07m². Whole rolls are calculated from the measured room and landing area, excluding carpet offcuts. Stair underlay and the final quantity are confirmed at your measure.

Carpet grippers

10 sticks per pack, each 1.50m long (15m per pack). As an average guide, allow one pack per 4m × 4m room. Suggestions use each room's measured area, rounded up per 16m²; landings and stairs are excluded. You can change the packs for your layout. Our showroom will confirm the final quantity.

Door bars

90cm is the standard length. Standard carpet bars and the Silver self-adhesive cover strip: £9.99 for 90cm or £29.99 for 2.70m. Premier profiles: £19.99 for 90cm or £59.99 for 2.70m. Selected bars are included in your estimate. Our showroom will confirm suitability.

For a rectangular landing, enter its full length and width. L-shaped or irregular landings need a measuring plan from our team.

Each room is estimated as a separate full-width cut. Our team may reduce waste by planning cuts together and must confirm pile direction, joins and final measurements. Stairs and shaped rooms need a separate measuring plan.

The estimate includes carpet and any underlay, gripper packs or door bars selected above. Other fitting charges, finishing materials, floor preparation and delivery are quoted separately.
